As the surveryor put it: This craft is not a 1978 model, more like 2006, when the total overhaul was complete. The original vessel was completely gutted; the hull design is all that is original. New heavy duty epoxy/FRP stringers were installed, along with engines, transmissions, wiring, electrical, plumbing, galley and props, all replaced or renewed in 2004- 2006. The Cary Marine 50 Express was the choice of this owner (a veteran boat owner and marina operator) because of it's hull's design. It smoothly cuts right through six foot seas, powered by its twin 700hp+ Man Diesels. During this re-birth, the owner was meticulous to all detail. Quality equipment installed, quality production standards observed. He has over $1 million in receipts to back all of this up. One man's expensive project is going to be another man's bargain.
